How Can IOSH Training Courses Optimise Productivity In Your Company?
About IOSH & The IOSH Health and Safety Training Courses
The IOSH (The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) is the largest health and safety chartered body in the world. They have more than 47,000 members across 120 countries. Since the organisation was founded 75 years ago, it has been setting health and safety standards and offering support, resources and training to all its members.
Over the years, the IOSH Training Courses have become more and more popular with companies. This proves the major benefits it can bring to any organisation. When your staff are aware of the health and safety procedures and how to best implement them, the workplace becomes a much safer environment. In any truly safe environment, productivity automatically increases and drives growth for both the business and its employees as a result.
Below are the three types of IOSH Health and Safety Training Courses we have successfully been delivering over the last 15 years to thousands of delegates:
IOSH Working Safely
This one day course covers the basics of workplace health and safety and is ideal for any employee in any organisation. It covers all the essential aspects of health and safety as well as workplace hazards and risks and how to control them.
IOSH Managing Safely
The IOSH Managing Safely four-day course is dedicated to managers and supervisors that need to make sure their teams are working in a healthy and safe way. It covers areas like assessing and controlling risks, investigating accidents and incidents, identifying hazards, measuring performance and protecting the environment.
IOSH Refresher
With the health and safety training courses at IOSH, a one-day refresher course is dedicated to the staff that have passed the four-day IOSH Managing Safely course and need to refresh their knowledge. The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health recommends the IOSH Refresher course is taken every three years.
We can deliver all the above IOSH Training Courses on your own site, or you can send your staff onto one of our Open Courses – see here our full list of open courses that also include Mental Health First Aid training, NEBOSH National General Certificate, CCNSG Safety Passport, COSHH Assessor and Manual Handling “Train the Trainer”.
