COSHH Assessor Training:
The hazards of work are generally recognised and controlled. However, the long-term chronic or indeed some short term or acute effects of exposure to substances remains a major problem within our working environment. It is only in the recent past that some of the sufferings from long-term exposures to hazardous substances have come to light; the effects on the individual, the costs to the employer and to the nation are becoming far higher than other safety-related costs. This is why we offer our COSHH Assessor service.
Objectives:
The COSHH assessor course examines the legislation, control strategy and the effects of exposure to substances in the workplace. On completion delegates will:
